Portch Trimmings was established in Leicester in 1948, to create top quality trimmings for the thriving boot and shoe industry in the midlands.

We still supply the few surviving ‘quality’ footwear manufacturers in the UK and Europe, but now predominantly supply discerning fashion and accessory manufacturers.

Our expertise in producing innovative strapping in a wide range of natural and synthetic materials has ensured that we are always in demand by manufacturers seeking a top quality trimming that is a little different from the imported, mass produced product.

All products are made to customer’s specifications.
